About ME

Hi World!

My name is Rebecka and I am a local artist in Georgia USA; Originally from California. I have been an oil painter since the age of 13 years old. I am self taught with amazing French painters and Walt Disney Artists along the way. I have a large variety of strengths. I can range in different styles to different subject and mediums.

I am a member of Savannah Art Association, The Landings Art Association, Arts on the Coast, Effingham Artists, and am constantly joining more. I currently have oil paintings up in the Savannah Airport Gallery, RC Companies in Springfield, Taco Affair, Arts on the Coast Gallery in Richmond Hill and more local businesses.

Recently I have started giving intermediate and advanced classes to the Effingham Community with Effingham Artists; which you can sign up for at www.effinghamartists.org.

I love to share my talent and teach people and kids about painting as it is very therapeutic, calming and it truly does nurture your creative side. With this, I started Dr.Canvas Art back in 2020.

Dr.Canvas is a mobile art class. So I travel to your location. I travel throughout the Low Country of Georgia and South Carolina to schools, churches, homes, etc. I have done parties from 8 people to 88 people. I can spark talent in acrylic, watercolors, charcoal, or any medium you prefer. My classes are super fun, appropriate for all ages and great for birthday parties, girls’ night out, fundraisers, work events, holiday get togethers and more.
